Green agenda in meltdown
For the green agenda it seems a political tipping point has been reached – and it’s the mass media’s credibility, not the Arctic, that’s in meltdown
For anyone that looks beyond the emotional response you will always find that there is another truth that is deeper and more alarming.
Let me spell it out for you in one word
If that isn’t clear then so be it. You’re fucked… just enjoy the rising energy prices and a world where you thought what was right and normal goes out the window.
This summary quoted above is from this article that recently here:
Those in Calcutta lacked hygiene, food and painkillers doctors found – despite her Missionaries of Charity foundation raising hundreds of millions of pounds.
Large sums were also transferred to secret accounts and – although Mother Teresa offered prayers to victims of natural disasters in India – they allegedly received no cash or direct aid.
The nun also held ‘overly dogmatic views’ on abortion, contraception and divorce, according to researchers from Montreal and Ottawa universities.
You might guess I have a disdain of anything resembling a crutch and have often been known to hate things that are popular. Mother Theresa is one of those people. I have disliked her mythology for a long time. I felt she has to be a fraud and now it’s all coming out not surprisingly.
Enjoy the article… I know I did.
For all those morons that are witch hunters of the modern day.
Fracknation… go see it… it’s going to be another example of foolish people chasing their tails and making government policy based on UNINFORMED PUBLIC OPINION.
Gasland is a public relations scam by convenient idiots.
The heresy of hearsay
If life was like any episode of Glee I would have killed myself long long ago.
“News is what someone wants to suppress. Everything else is advertising”.
former NBC news President Rubin Frank
I have been thinking on this one for a while.
Take a piece of paper and in big letters write PUBLIC RELATIONS STUNT on it and paste it under your television so you can see it like a subtitle. Now try watching anything at all as that goes in to your mind along with the garbage on TV… instant freedom 🙂
at the moment here is this
at another here is that
I bought some ultimate ears ue350’s recently thinking they would be good value from the reviews I had read online.
Sure they were good… but that was it… they were good only.
Within a month of having them they sort of sounded less punchy and more flatter. I was disheartened to discover one day also that one of the phones was a lot duller than the other for unknown reasons. This pushed me in a search again for another headphone to replace it.
I then started to dig around online at my usual sites and found the same recommendations but I just couldn’t justify the cost of paying in excess of $100 for a headphone unless it super impressed me.
I had to rethink it all as my application was for riding on my bike. The wind noise and buffeting causes tinnitus so I my solution should be able to be heard above that and also perform well in all situations otherwise.
My usual site headphone.com had a few but nothing that stuck out to me.
That is when I started digging around audiophile forums finding people raving about the Meelec M9’s.
They were saying amazing sound, amazing price, hard to beat and such other accolades.
I jumped to ebay to find that they had an ebay store and I bought a pair without a blink.
The price of $20 was ridiculously cheap if all the reviews where true.
About 8 days later they arrived as they were sent international and I was impressed with the packing.
The whole deal looked professional.
They were silver metal buds with anti-tangle cording with a clip and an angled jack.
I plugged them in to find a world of sound that only my Musical Fidelity amp, mega sub and satellite speakers can deliver in the open lounge room.
I was more than impressed.
I am listening baseline with no amp on a simple and old crappy Sansa e280 which with headphones like these sounded stupendous.
There is a respectable level of detail across all genre’s… I love electronica so its got to sound good or it really does sound super bad.
I likened their depth to the Koss Porta Pro’s but better… fatter rounded bass… wow.
I ride a motorbike occasionally and use ear plugs to stop the damage from wind buffeting my ear drum. On the bike I could hear them well such that I have a life soundtrack where ever I ride which is much better than wind deafness.
If you are thinking headphones for any application and are partial towards in ear…
roll with these… you will not regret it.
They literally blew my mind.
update : I am now eyeing the MEElectronics A161P Balanced Armature In-Ear Headphones as I cannot fathom that something could sound even better than these M9’s.
If any MEElectronics staff are reading this… I would gladly love to review a pair if you are interested in sending some over. Contact me using the contact form at the top of the page.
Thanks for reading.
Woke from an intense dream where I was watching Australian Aboriginal people being harassed by people with chopsticks? A woman said its because they are the ancient sumerian race and they needed to suppress them so no one would know that they power reality using their imagination
